Moxy Athens City

We held a professional team event at the Moxy Hotel, and everything went splendidly. The location was perfect, the rooms spacious and clean, the breakfast great, and the staff very kind and helpful. The initial communication about the offerings, the organization, and the extra activities and services all went well, as did the stay itself. I'd absolutely recommend it for work or a personal visit.

The hotel was very clean, the breakfast was good, and the staff were excellent. They did everything they could to make us comfortable, and after three nights I felt they were so good that I didn't want to complain to them. The room, though, was the main problem. We were on the sixth floor, but the locked balcony door couldn't be opened and faced a huge concrete wall, so it felt like being in a basement. There was no fresh air or daylight. Omonia Square is central, but I didn't feel it was a safe area and wouldn't recommend it. If being in a locked-off area is an issue for you, make sure the room category is suitable.

The staff had a friendly vibe, and breakfast in the morning offered a broad, tasty selection. The rooms were clean, stylish, and great, and the whole hotel had a cool design. It was my first stay with the Moxy brand, and I had a good time. The location is ideal for central Athens, within walking distance of Syntagma and the Acropolis, and right by Omonia metro station. There were a few dodgy characters around, but nothing out of the ordinary for a big city. I'd recommend it and would return if I visit Athens again.

The service was excellent, and the staff were always cheerful and helpful. We enjoyed breakfast, and the hotel is handy for getting around, although the neighborhood looks a little rough. The rooms are decently equipped. A kettle was missing, and the bathroom door didn't close easily. Moxy hotels all have a similar colorful, lively, energetic decor.
