After checkout, the host accused us of lying without any evidence. That was extremely inappropriate. We’d already submitted a complaint to Booking with screenshots and evidence, so future guests should know. On arrival, there were black curly hairs on the bed linen, which looked like pubic hair, and we had to sleep on those sheets the first night. The kitchen had wet, dirty dishes that we had to wash before using. The host later made false claims in his response, including that we refused to pay for the locksmith. That isn’t true, the locksmith came and I paid €40. He also said we broke a lock and took linen from a wardrobe, but we never had a key to that wardrobe.
