The front desk staff were especially friendly and helpful, and the rooftop terrace on the third floor has a great nighttime vibe for drinks. The hotel is also well located, so we could walk to almost everywhere. A great choice for a quick Athens visit!

I was moved to a larger room on a higher floor, which was a nice upgrade. Sarri Nin & Bau had a pleasant atmosphere and a comfortable room, so I enjoyed my stay. My room had no view, though, and managing separate physical keys for the main entrance, room, and safe was awkward and made it easier to lose one. A digital key or card system would make access simpler. Still, it was a good stay.

There was nobody in the lobby, and no one answered WhatsApp. The keys wouldn’t open the lobby door, so I was locked out. Getting into the property felt unsafe, and the room door was outside the building with a partly broken knob, like someone had tried to force it. The rooms weren’t cleaned, despite this place calling itself a hotel. Graffiti all around the area added to the uneasy feeling. Definitely not recommended, especially for a woman or a group of women traveling alone.

The staff were friendly and spoke English really well. Our room was brand new and very clean, and there’s an elevator and a lovely open terrace upstairs. The only drawback in the room was the window, which looked onto a small, dark courtyard. Breakfast is served at a partner restaurant about a five-minute walk away, and it’s mostly a brunch style meal, one large toast and one drink. They also charge an additional government tourism tax of 2€ per guest.
