Pantelis at reception was amazing, so kind, and gave us wine for my husband’s birthday. We loved it so much that he gave us a second bottle when we asked. The service here was amazing, with quick responses whenever we needed anything, and housekeeping did a great job. The hotel is stunning, modern, clean, safe, and perfectly located. We loved it. If I’m ever in Athens again, or know friends visiting, I’ll send them here. Don’t hesitate to book, you won’t regret it.

Hello, I recently stayed at your hotel and wanted to say thank you. It was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the staff were especially professional, kind, and welcoming. Their positive attitude and excellent service made the stay even better. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality. I look forward to staying with you again. Best regards, Mohammed AlSamah room no.101 😊

We arrived at Nur Aparthotel at the end of November and found there was no heating in the room. When we raised it, staff said they hadn’t switched the air conditioners to winter mode yet, so the rooms only had cooling. That evening the shower water was lukewarm, and the pressure was so poor that anyone wanting to wash their hair should think twice. On day two, the tap water was ice cold, with nothing warm or hot. We learned other rooms had the same problem, and quite a few guests had left because of it. Staff said a technician was on the way. It was fixed, but the same problem returned the next day. At 10 pm we asked to speak to the manager and were transferred across the street to Nur Edge, basically the same hotel under a slightly different setup. We were already undressed and about to shower, but had to pack all our shopping and suitcases after being fully unpacked for three days. We carried everything over at night. The room there was tiny, about one metre by one metre, the size of a tuna can. We told the staff member it was unrealistic to put us in a room like that, which wasn’t what we’d paid for and had no space to unpack our things. After half an hour talking to the manager, she offered a bigger room for an extra charge. We refused. Another half hour later, the manager understood we wouldn’t accept a tiny room and offered a compromise: a large room at no extra cost but no refund option, or staying in the small room and getting some kind of refund or compensation for the distress, with the amount and type still unknown. We immediately chose the large room and contacted Booking. They said they’d handle our request within 24 hours, but three days later we still hadn’t heard back. In the three days since then, the room lost power twice in the afternoon. The shower also flooded because water wouldn’t drain and the stall didn’t close properly, leaving the whole bathroom floor covered in water. Noise was terrible at both hotels, whether on the first side of the street or the second. Traffic from the main road continued all night, and the church bells started at 7 am and rang every hour on the hour. The rooms had no soundproofing or insulation. The curtains didn’t block the light. The beds were awful, leaving me with back pain after five nights and six days, and the pillows were uncomfortable too. I don’t recommend staying here. The manager’s attitude was disgraceful. Even when she came to reception, she tried to seem kind and smile, but didn’t really help. We repeatedly explained that the hotel should compensate us for its mistakes and problems, instead of making us pay. We also asked for late checkout or some consideration, given what had happened. They said we could stay about five more hours only if we paid 75 euros, which felt like a ransom.

We slept really well here, the beds are extremely comfortable, and the place is spotless and feels safe. The staff were kind and attentive, and the cleaners kept everything immaculate. Ermou is right in the center, so shops, restaurants and attractions are all nearby. I’d happily stay again. Special thanks to Katerina, konstantina and Evita at reception.

I was in Athens for work during Posidonia week and stayed five days. I’ve visited the city plenty of times, but I haven’t had this kind of warm welcome or customer service before. The room was spacious and clean, with a big, comfortable bed and a little desk by the window. You can see Ermou street to the right and syntagma to the left. It felt very, very safe: entry to the building and room is by passwords, so there are no keys to carry. Even the bathroom was lovely, and the shower gel and shampoo stood out. You get a lot for what you pay, and I’m glad I chose this place. One thing I wish I’d known: bring cash to tip the reception ladies and cleaners, since you can’t add money to your bill. They deserve it, and I’ll remember next time!
