Olygreen Athens Residences

We were there for two nights on a family trip. The apartment was clean and had what a family needs, and the building was well maintained in a quiet neighborhood. Breakfast supplies and underground parking were a big plus. Check-in and checkout were simple to do ourselves, and it’s around a ten-minute walk to the metro.

The staff were caring and really helpful, and the beds were very comfortable. The apartment was clean and modern, with an excellent location about a ten-minute walk from the metro. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance too.

The owners present themselves as caring about nature, but I see them pruning trees in May and June when there are plenty of birds' nests in their garden. To me, that makes their sustainability image for marketing feel hypocritical. I feel they care about money, while showing disrespect for people and killing birds in their nests. Their cleaning staff make terrible noise for about an hour every Monday using the wrong device to clean the building. Dust gets blown onto the opposite building and our balconies and plants fill with it. We can’t even hang washed linen out to dry without it getting dirty. We protested and asked them to use another device and avoid making so much noise, but they refused to take our complaint into account.

The apartment was clean and up to date, and worked well for my family of four. It’s in a nice part of the Athens suburbs, about a ten-minute walk from the train station. From there, it’s a short ride into the heart of Athens.
