Pallada Athens Boutique Rooms & Apartments

The staff were so friendly, and breakfast was really nice. The service and location were the best parts. Our room was big and spacious, though at night we could hear water running from another room, and the toilet door made a lot of noise.

The rooms are fairly large for the price, and the location is central. That's about all I can say in its favor. Music from what I think is a venue across the street was unbelievably loud again on the second night, at just 11 pm, and was likely to carry on for hours. Street noise is ridiculous, so if you need quiet to sleep, don't stay here. There's also mold on the bathroom ceiling. I can't understand what people who gave this four stars are comparing it to. I feel sorry they haven't had better stays before, and sorry I chose this place. Calling it a boutique hotel is misleading, there's nothing boutique about it. Even though breakfast was included, my wife and I went elsewhere to eat.

The people were lovely, and breakfast was simple but okay. It's right in the middle of town. At times there was a lot of street noise, and you could hear people coming up the stairs. Still, I'd stay here again.

It's spacious and well placed for visiting many sites, but far too expensive for what you get. The amenities are worn, there's black mold on the bathroom walls, and the lack of soundproofing indoors and outside made it too loud to sleep. Don't be fooled by the description, there's nothing boutique about this place.
