Pandrosos Divine Suites

I loved the location and the hotel felt nicely updated. Our room TV didn't work for the first three days, but they offered free drinks to make up for it. The ocean view was great, and everything else was nice, with an easy walk into town. I would skip eating here and head into town, though. I had told them twice about my food allergy, but they still put lemon in my dish. I saw the zest, and my tongue got extremely itchy from the reaction. The manager wasn't very understanding and kept insisting there was no lemon in it. If you have a serious allergy, make sure you clarify it several times. George was lovely and apologetic, even though it wasn't his fault, and he understood why I was upset.

Fruit, wine, and food were waiting when we arrived, and the bed was comfortable. The apartment is well laid out and has all the amenities we needed, with a balcony as a major bonus. Christos was amazing and helped us with everything. You're right in the heart of Athens, with everything around you. A real gem, very highly recommended.

The only snag was being on the second floor with no stairs, but the staff were amazing and carried our luggage. When our bags were delayed, I worried because there was no front desk. The staff were incredibly helpful, gave us their cell numbers, and coordinated directly with the airport to get the bags delivered to our room. We arrived to wine, slippers, and the usual bathroom supplies, which mattered a lot since we had no luggage. The location is right in the heart of Plaka/monostiraki, making it so easy to get around. Taking the metro from the airport or port costs 1.2 euros, compared with a $50 taxi or Uber. Being so central meant we could return for an AC break during the heat. Breakfast in the room was plentiful and topped up daily, and the bed was comfortable, about North American queen size. The room was always clean. Absolutely recommend if you can manage stairs.

Christos kept our room tidy and stocked throughout the stay, and was always available on WhatsApp for questions. He sent the room details the day before, and kindly let us leave our bags when our flight arrived before check-in. The suite had everything we needed, including a coffee machine, TV, and hair dryer. I loved having coffee on the balcony. It's right in the heart of Athens, within walking distance of the Acropolis and other sights. We had a great stay and highly recommend it.
