Philosofia Athens Suites

Getting the access code was my main worry before arrival. I only received it a week before my flight, after repeatedly contacting the hotel and trip.com, which made me anxious. You’ll need to get the code from the staff management before you arrive. Once there, Philosofia Athens Suite turned out to be a great choice for our six nights in Athens: affordable, clean, and central. We arrived at night, and the surrounding area initially seemed a little scary, with few people around and graffiti on the buildings. But it was beside a busy main road, and there’s graffiti all over the city, so we came to see it as art 😁. There are just 11 units, so it felt exclusive, and the price was really good. There’s no breakfast, but there’s a cafe across the building, and the shopping area is within walking distance, so finding food wasn’t an issue. I liked that a laundry room had a washer and dryer, drying racks were provided, and the iron and ironing board were always available, even though we didn’t use the laundry facilities. It was a wonderful stay, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Athens.
