Pink Mango Hostel

The beds were much more comfortable than I expected, and the rooftop was especially lovely in the evening. It had a social atmosphere without getting noisy, which made for a fun, memorable stay in Athens.

The outer dorm, Pink Mango, opens straight onto an alley and its door doesn't close by itself, so someone has to remember to shut it manually. A thief got into the dorm and took two luggage bags and two backpacks belonging to four guests. The owner gave me a few clothes after all of mine were stolen, but the door's security wasn't improved.

Pink hostels should be shut down. People using drugs and people described as unfaithful stay there, and things like laptops and clothes get stolen, along with whatever else thieves or drug addicts find interesting. The manager is disrespectful, behaves disgracefully toward women, and has a bad attitude with men.

The rooftop terrace jacuzzi was the highlight, and the place felt better than a hotel to me. People acted like friends, and I left with great memories and new friendships. I also heard a new location is opening soon and have already promised to return. Pink Mango in Athens had kind, welcoming staff and an owner who made me feel at home. It was spotless, the beds were really comfortable, and our room even had its own bathroom. The location was close to everything. Affordable, clean, full of good vibes, and highly recommended.
