The staff and locals were so friendly that, coming from Istanbul, we felt welcome and comfortable throughout. We were happy with our stay and would gladly come back. Breakfast was delicious, and the manager greeted us warmly at the shop downstairs. Thanks especially to the person handling breakfast and room cleaning, who was polite, professional, easy to talk to, and fluent in English. Our four nights at Plaka Arch Suites put us right in the middle of Plaka, below the Acropolis, with Syntagma and Monastiraki an easy 10-15 minute walk away. The room was very clean, with a spotless bathroom, comfortable bed, refrigerator, and small balcony. It faced the street rather than the Acropolis, but sitting outside was still enjoyable. The lively shopping street nearby was pleasant to explore, and watching the city from Areopagus Hill was a great experience. Athens has endless food choices and really is a gastronomic city.

Thanos made things easy for us, helping with everything and sharing useful suggestions. The staff were warm, cheerful, and helpful, with smiling faces all around. Plaka Arch Suites felt comfortable and welcoming, like a home away from home, and was exceptionally well run. The room was spotless, nicely decorated, and equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious each morning. The location is right in the heart of Athens, close enough to walk to places you'd want to visit, yet surprisingly peaceful and quiet. We loved our stay and would recommend it without hesitation.

The staff made the stay especially enjoyable. Everyone I spoke with was warm, helpful, and welcoming, particularly Thanos. The room was more spacious than I expected and had all the amenities I needed. Right in central Athens, the hotel made it easy to reach major sights, restaurants, and shops on foot. I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

Thanos, the manager, gave fantastic service. The room was really clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was included, with a choice of continental or fry breakfast. I'd recommend staying here if you're coming to Athens.

The owner and housekeeper were patient and understanding when we got the bedsheets dirty. The location was excellent, and service was superb, with quick replies and prompt help whenever we made a request.
