Priamos Hotel Erato

We had a romantic getaway and both loved it. Superb hotel, lovely staff, and a great choice at breakfast.

The soundproofing was pretty good, though we could still hear other people, and we did have a good time. We came expecting a very seedy hotel vibe and got exactly that, maybe a little more than we expected. The room smelled unpleasant, there was dust in several places, especially the bathroom vent, and the bathroom window handle was broken so we couldn’t close it. Of the eight bulbs in the central light, only one worked. The AC made an awful noise whenever it tried to run, and the free breakfast was just packaged items and cheap juice, nothing decent. For what we paid, it felt terribly overpriced. At half the price I’d have given it more stars.

The rooms are fun, the place is clean, and it’s really close to the metro. The staff were very good too.

We picked this hotel for the location and original decor, so it was definitely a unique stay. The room had an unpleasant smell, though, and the guests next door tried to kick our door in around 2AM. Stay safe. We were glad we’d only booked one night. I’m also giving it a low rating because they try to "bribe" guests to leave the highest review score in exchange for a possible free stay. That isn’t fair.
