Raise Athens Metro Apartments

Just a minute from Dafni metro station, the location is excellent. The spacious room has a very good bed, a great balcony, and lots of amenities, including a fridge, coffee machine, hairdryer, iron, and toaster. The cleaning lady was really nice. The third person's couch was quite uncomfortable, and when we opened it as a bed, crumbs and dirt fell out, so it hadn't been cleaned properly. With the windows open, expect a lot of noise. I also found the written messages a little aggressive in tone, especially about checkout and rules. It felt like booking a hotel, not joining a military camp. Their messages got friendlier when they asked for a review.

I booked Athens Metro Apartments from March 30th to April 3rd, but the stay was extremely disappointing. A strong, unpleasant sewage-like smell from the toilet made the apartment uncomfortable, and I couldn't sleep there at all. I found another place that same night. I reported the issue on the evening I arrived, but no one came to help until the next day, far too late for a problem that made the apartment unusable from the start. I hadn't stayed a single night, yet they denied my refund request. The issue was with the property's condition, not a change of plans on my end. The service felt unprofessional and short on basic customer care. After payment, they seemed unwilling to fix the problem fairly or take responsibility. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend booking there. They were unreliable and didn't meet reasonable expectations for accommodation or service.

The modern building has stairs and an elevator, and entry to the apartment is by a code sent through the Booking.com chat. The apartment was lovely, with a living room and sofa bed, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and balcony overlooking the mountains and city. The living room and bedroom air conditioners worked great, and we appreciated having Netflix on the living-room TV. The kitchen had what we needed, although it lacked a microwave, which didn't bother us. Beds were comfortable and tidy, and the bathroom was clean. The toilet flushed as it should, the shower worked well, and the washbasin wasn't clogged. The water temperature took a little fiddling to set, but it wasn't a big deal. Remember to put toilet paper in the bin beside the toilet because Greek pipes are too narrow for it. The apartment had a very good price for its rating, so it was hard to resist. I highly recommend it to tourists visiting Athens.

You can get into the city easily from this spot on a huge avenue with several transport options. The place looks even better than the photos, with thoughtful design, modern architecture, and fine furniture and materials. It gave me the sense that the owner has a professional eye and is more than happy to help guests with information. I fully recommend it. It's state of the art!
