Clean, cozy, and quiet.

We paid €135 for one night through Booking, expecting privacy in an apartment, but the whole situation was ridiculous. The owner never told us other people would be staying there or that there was only one bathroom. While the owner was renovating, people were sleeping in the apartment, so we couldn’t use the kitchen or garden. The single bathroom was in terrible shape and the workers used it too. The fridge was packed with food that wasn’t ours, leaving no room for our things. At 5:00 PM the owner sat in the garden with other people for an aperitif. When we got back around 1:00 AM, someone was eating in the kitchen and didn’t seem to notice us, so we had to go without a service we’d paid for. The rooms had recently been painted and smelled strongly of paint. A shutter lock was broken, so we slept with the smell and couldn’t get fresh air because the odor was so pungent.

The location was good, and the place was clean.
