The atmosphere felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming, and there seemed to be extra charges for almost everything. The reception staff were the biggest problem: unfriendly, unhelpful, and seemingly uninterested in what guests needed. Having to hand in my room key every time I left made me feel supervised, more like I was in custody than on vacation. The rooms were old and extremely small, with water leaking around the plumbing pipes. The toilet flush was incredibly loud and could be heard throughout the hotel. Breakfast was poor, with very few choices and exactly the same food each day.

The staff were super attentive and nice, especially the woman in the breakfast area and the guys at reception. I hope the hotel can prosper and move forward. It’s an old hotel in a part of town that isn’t nice, and most historical sites are about a 20-minute walk away. The rooms need upgrading, but they’re offered at an amazing price for Athens. Breakfast was okay too. If you’re looking for an economical option and plan to spend as little time as possible at the hotel, it could work well.

The staff were very kind and accommodating, and the hotel was clean. The bathroom was very small, though, and breakfast was very simple.

I’m speechless, actually, right on point. I can’t even whisper in the room without getting a complaint. My friend and I are travelling the world, and we booked one night because we had a vila to check into tomorrow. The service was among the worst I’ve had. Apparently it’s an old hotel with no wall insulation, so if you want to talk, don’t come here. The rooms weren’t clean and smelled like a sunken boat. I wouldn’t come back even for free.
