The Artisan Suites

The Artisan Suite is well placed for seeing Athens, with major sights within walking distance and the metro handy for trips to the harbor. We found the staff helpful and appreciated their tips for exploring the city. The suites were spacious, bright, and very clean. I enjoyed our stay and would recommend The Artisan Suite, though a few things could make it more comfortable: a mirror in each room, some chairs and a small table for eating, and warmer touches like wall paint or décor. There was also paint damage in our room that looked possibly related to humidity and may need attention.

We really enjoyed our four-day break. The place felt safe, was clean and updated, and stayed quiet, with reception staff who responded quickly when we needed anything. Major attractions, shopping, entertainment, and transport were all walkable. The Branches, just behind the building, provided an excellent healthy breakfast. Brighter lighting and a microwave would be useful additions.

This is a simple, casual hotel in a handy spot near the main shopping and leisure streets, and the rooms were very clean and tidy, with smart TVs. I was impressed by the security: you need a passcode for both the lobby entrance and the suites. The lobby staff were polite and helpful, from offering to call a taxi to storing our luggage while we waited for the rooms. Full-length mirrors would be a useful addition. I'd recommend it for a relaxed trip with friends or anyone looking for a straightforward, secure place to stay.

We felt safe walking around and loved having so many restaurants nearby, especially Six d o g s, a bar that also serves great Thai food. The street parking costs €.50 an hour. Our one-bedroom condo was nice, but our adult son found the sofa bed really uncomfortable. I should've listened to the other reviews about street noise: we could hear people until 4am.
