The Athens Explorer

Esmeralda arranged our airport rides both ways, which made things easy. The rental was spotless and just like the photos, with a TV in every room and separate air conditioning controls. There are lots of good restaurants within walking distance, and the location is great. I highly recommend My Greek Vacations rentals.

When our plans shifted from a two-week holiday to an eight-week stay because of Covid, this apartment worked well for both. Every bedroom had a workstation, so we all had desks for remote school and work. Mary and Esmeralda were great hosts, responding right away to our calls and messages. They even included a complimentary clean and fresh bed linen, which we really appreciated. The apartment itself is beautifully renovated, very clean, well equipped, and has extra towels and linens along with all the modern conveniences. Restaurants, shops, supermarkets, metro, tram, and sights are right outside. We’d happily stay in any of Mary and Esmeralda’s apartments. Hosts like these make me trust online bookings and Airbnb. Five stars.

We could walk from the apartment to all the main sights, and I’d definitely recommend staying here. It was spacious and clean, in a neighborhood packed with tempting cafes, bakeries, bars, and restaurants.

Esmeralda was really friendly and flexible about check-in and check-out. The apartment was new, clean, and very well equipped, and we had so much fun there. Cafes and restaurants fill the area, which is close to the center. I absolutely recommend it.
