The location is handy, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Breakfast is simple but enough to get the day started, and the helpful staff provide the basics, including a minibar, kettle and toiletries. It’s a small boutique hotel, as the name suggests, with 21 rooms. Ours was cute, clean and well maintained, though quite small. There’s no gym or spa. One night, a private party at the well-known restaurant carried on noisily into our room and disturbed us. A good fit if you like boutique hotels.

The room was lovely and spotless, and having a balcony was a real plus. I’d recommend booking one if you can. Room service was good too. Still, two unpleasant interactions with someone at reception were completely unnecessary and put a damper on our stay. That was a shame, especially since the rest of the staff were so kind and helpful.

George is the best barman we’ve ever come across, and the cocktails were fantastic. We had a brilliant stay at this amazing hotel. Would recommend it and love to come back.

George looked after us so well in the restaurant, and the food was exceptional. His friendly manner and attention to detail made the meal even better. The rooms were cozy, thoughtfully designed, very clean, and the whole hotel was beautifully maintained. From check-in onward, receptionist Dione was warm and professional, making everything easy and checking that I was comfortable throughout my stay. The hotel has a welcoming feel, and the hospitality, comfort and quality made for an amazing visit. I’d gladly return and recommend The Twenty Hotel to anyone visiting Athens.
