Twin Circle Athens

I didn’t meet any staff during my three-night stay, so I can’t really comment on service. It felt more like a BnB than a hotel. The room itself was lovely, spacious, clean, and nicely decorated, though a little bare when it came to artwork. The area around it was the harder part. It’s run down, dirty, and smells bad. I made sure not to walk around at night, and hurried from the train station to the accommodation.

The rooms are beautiful and have a peaceful feel, and the location is handy for getting around, close to both train and bus stations. The included unify wifi was a great addition and made the stay easier. A few things could be better: the blinds let too much light through, the bed may feel too soft for some, and I found the pillow much too big and hard. The area under the bed sheet could have been cleaner as well. Even with those issues, I had a mostly pleasant stay in a lovely, well-located place.

The area seemed perfectly fine to us, just a regular local neighborhood with its own charm, not touristy. There are a few bars and grocery stores nearby, and we had no trouble walking between the metro and the place, morning or late evening. Room number 2 was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated, with high ceilings, a spacious toilet, lovely bed linen, and a very comfortable bed. The AC worked well. The inner patio, with rosemary, jasmine, basil, and mint, was a lovely spot to unwind. It really felt like a peaceful island in chaotic Athens. George was a warm, smiley host. We’ll definitely come back.
