Urban Core Residence

The staff let us check in as soon as our room was ready, even though we arrived a little early. They were friendly, and breakfast was fine. It’s a simple hotel right beside the Archeological museum. A great experience, thank you! ❤️

The staff were nice and helpful, but I wouldn’t recommend this place. Our room was extremely dark because the wall was mostly covered by huge mirrors, leaving only very small windows. Outside, the hotel is close to Omonia station in a busy, very loud area. Breakfast was minimal. We went around 9, and most items were old or cold, or had already run out, so we gave up. On arrival, I turned on the hairdryer and it caught fire before stopping; the receptionist was helpful about it. We stayed seven days and the room was cleaned, but the sheets were never changed. A very poor experience.

The breakfast is the main letdown. It’s very basic, nothing special. The hotel itself is lovely, with nice rooms and friendly, helpful staff. It’s central, though a little away from the more touristy and nicer areas. Don’t be put off by the rougher-looking neighborhood, a few blocks’ walk gets you closer to local life, and there’s a metro and supermarket nearby. The staff even took time in the middle of the night to help us work out the best way to get to the airport. I’d highly recommend the hotel.

A clean room with a comfortable bed, and the front desk staff went out of their way to help with everything. The location was excellent too, in a good area that doesn’t feel overrun by tourists but is still close to the sights. The Acropolis is about a 25-minute walk away. I strongly recommend staying here.
