Not Hotel Athens

The people at NOT Hotel made this stay special. They were always smiling, attentive, and sincerely interested in helping us, and their local tips were spot-on. From arrival, we were welcomed with such warmth that we felt more like friends coming home than guests. The hotel is stylish, cozy, and full of character, with a calm atmosphere and thoughtful design throughout. Our room was immaculate, comfortable, and elegant, with quality amenities and a peaceful feel that made it easy to rest after exploring Athens. It’s well located while still being wonderfully tranquil, like a little oasis in the city. We left refreshed and inspired, already thinking about coming back. Highly recommend it for a personal, warm, memorable stay. 💛

I felt so safe and comfortable here, even travelling on my own, and the youthful neighborhood suited me. It’s a little distance from the pedestrian areas, but that didn’t bother me. Walking to the Acropolis along Iraklidon Street took half an hour, and I really enjoyed that. The people gave me so much warmth, especially while I was celebrating my birthday. I haven’t experienced such care and sensitivity in a long time. The rooms were cozy and had everything I needed, the toiletries were excellent, and I loved the design and cleanliness. The home-cooked food was delicious too. This felt like a real oasis in Athens. I was happy here and will definitely stay again. Thank you for such a lovely time!

The rooftop dining room has a gorgeous view of the Acropolis, which the website doesn’t really highlight. The immediate area didn’t look great at first, but within a 10-minute walk there are beautiful ruins, the Agora, Hadrian's library, ancient views, and lots of restaurants, rooftop spots, and shops. We thought this was one of the better options in Athens. The hotel has lovely gardens and a boutique, bespoke feel. Our room was spacious, with high ceilings and beautiful furnishings. There were nice extras too, like a departure gift, a welcome cordial, and homemade meals. The food was very good, though pricey for Athens, as were the drinks. The room is “smart” and modern, so be aware of that. Service was mostly great. We had to arrive very early, at 9am, and had told them we’d be leaving early the next morning. They didn’t prioritize cleaning our room, so we only got access 15 minutes before the stated time. But they let us have breakfast on the first morning instead of the second, when we’d be leaving too early to eat, and we really appreciated that. One other issue: the TV is a projector, and the picture isn’t good. There’s no regular TV, just streaming, so the only news option was YouTube.

We had a great two-night stay at NOT Hotel in Athens. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and cool, with fun touches like record players and projector screens. The staff were kind and quick to respond, and the service was exceptional. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
