The bay and beach look amazing from this Tavern, which sits high above the shore. Our dinner arrived pretty quickly, and the staff were very friendly. The man serving us had a good sense of humor. Food quality was excellent, though our juice tasted a little odd because of what we'd ordered, not because it was bad quality. We shared the grill plate for 2 and had Souvlaki. There was some cartilage in the meat, but it was still great. The grill plate was especially good, with Greek specialties including lamb, Burger (which minced meat), and chicken filet, plus pita bread, fries, and grilled vegetables. Plenty for two. We also ordered dessert: the fruit table for 2 and yoghurt with honey and nuts. Both were great, with very large portions, and the fruit tasted out of this world. Prices felt fair for what you get: tasty food, big servings, friendly service, and that great view.

We liked this restaurant enough to come back twice. The food was great and the staff were warm and friendly. There's private parking, although the steep, slippery road makes it a bit tricky to reach. Still, very much recommended.

We had a pleasant meal and would consider returning to try other dishes. The staff were friendly, and after we sat down they kindly let us move to the area with the stunning view. The calamari was crispy, well-seasoned, and the best we had during our stay in Crete. Spring rolls were ordinary mini ones, nothing special. The fried cheese pies were okay, but very hot, so be careful. The freshly fried zucchini could've used more flavor; we added salt and pepper. The fries were a little oily but nicely crisp, and salt and pepper helped there too. They finished with complimentary watermelon.

The seabass was fresh and tasty, the best I've had in Grece so far. Friendly waiters and a very nice view too.
