Bali Star Resort Hotel

We loved being able to stroll to Galini Taverna and Mambo, and the hotel is right beside Varkotopos Beach, a lovely sandy bay with calm, shallow water. Sunbeds and umbrellas made beach time easy, and seaside tavernas are just steps away. It’s also close to the entrance to Bali’s narrow streets, so arriving by car was simple, with convenient parking. The hosts, Fotrni and Maria, were so kind and welcoming. The hotel is well cared for, and the pool area was clean and peaceful. Our room in the original part of the hotel was bright, spotless, and comfortable, with a huge bed, good linens, and excellent housekeeping. Breakfast had lots of fresh options each morning. Bali Star Hotel gave us a relaxed stay, good value, and a great location. We’d happily come back to Bali, Crete. Sue & John ☘️ May 2026

We spent seven nights in room 203 and had nothing to complain about. The restaurant food was fresh and good, and our room was cleaned regularly. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and welcoming, whether at reception, the restaurant, or the bar. The staff were prompt and helpful from the moment we checked in, always greeting us with a smile.

We spent our last day by the pool after we couldn’t keep the room, and the big shower and changing room on that floor made it easy to freshen up before leaving. The pool was spotless, clear, and just the right temperature. Our room was huge and modern, laid out really well, and quiet and comfortable for sleeping. The balcony looked out over the mountains and beach. The hotel is kept to a high standard, and management and staff were warm and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and different each day, and the breakfast ladies were lovely and worked so hard. The Bali Diamond was the best hotel we’ve stayed at in Europe. We’ll definitely return, and highly recommend it.

We came with our eight-month-old and were touched by how caring and child-friendly everyone at Bali Star Resort was. The owners were especially warm and kind, and made us feel right at home. We were surprised with an upgrade to a room with a private pool, which made the stay extra special. The food was delicious, and the clean, relaxing beach was only a short walk away. We had such a lovely time and hope to return someday.
