We keep coming back because we like it so much. This is one of our favourite places in Crete, with fabulous beaches and accommodation in a really good spot. Every room has a balcony overlooking either the sea or the lovely, well-kept gardens.

Falassarna Beach is only a short walk away, and it's one of the most beautiful beaches in Crete. There are also lots of nearby tavernas serving wonderful traditional Greek food. The hotel is set in a gorgeous garden, with a lovely pool and a stunning beach view. It's cosy and has all the services you might need. Nancy was incredibly helpful from the moment we arrived, and all the staff were friendly, welcoming, and ready to help. We had a great, relaxing stay at Hotel Plakures from 09-15 June.

The meals were a highlight for me. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all freshly made, full of flavour, and offered a good range of Cretan and Mediterranean food. The room was bright, spacious, and comfortable, and the hotel was immaculately clean. Falasarna beach is nearby, which made it easy to unwind after a day there. What really made the stay was the warm welcome from the staff, who were always smiling and happy to help. Hotel Plakures felt homely and relaxing, and I'm already looking forward to going back.

We had a lovely week at Hotel Plakures and will be going back. The rooms were comfortable, clean, tidy, and well looked after. The staff were fantastic, always ready to help and make sure the stay was what we wanted. The hotel team also communicated really well during booking, replying promptly to all our questions. They arranged car hire for us from the airport too. I'd recommend the place.
