Villa Fiamegou

The rooms stayed cool through the day and were always clean, which made coming back to them feel refreshing. We had a great time here with friends. Breakfast was amazing, and the staff were welcoming, gave us island recommendations and helped arrange a taxi. It’s on a lovely quiet street near the beach and restaurants, and the service was excellent. A hidden gem, I couldn’t recommend it more.

The people running the place are nice and discreet, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. It’s well located, too. Breakfast was generous and a perfect start to the day, especially the tasty tomatoes and chocolate pancakes. I’d definitely recommend it :)

We’re staying at Villa Fiamegou right now, and I’m loving it. Everything is so tasteful, with extraordinary attention to detail, and the whole place is superb. It’s quiet, with wonderful people and surroundings, and a lovely breeze. It suits families or couples looking to recharge. I’m even postponing visits elsewhere in the Andros region so we can stay longer. We’ll be back!

Before we arrived, we got a message saying our room was canceled for nonpayment, even though we’d paid in full more than a month earlier. I’d requested a garden room because of my mobility problems, and the photos made the garden look level with the ground. The listing also said the beach was 168 ft away and parking was available. In reality, the rooms are up a very steep, narrow road several blocks from the beach, with no place to park and a huge staircase to climb. It was very misrepresented. The owner charged us for one night and refunded the rest, which was good, but after traveling all day we still had to find another hotel.
