The only real hassles were the tiny shower, which soaked the whole bathroom because the curtain doesn't close on one side, and beds that felt very soft, maybe too soft. Still, neither really spoiled the stay, and I'd strongly recommend it for the price. The road nearby was very quiet, so we slept fine despite the room being close to it. The kitchen has everything from a coffee machine to pots, plates, and an ice tray. Staff at Kalimera were kind and gave us lots of island tips when we arrived.

The owner was great and stayed up until 3am to check us in after our ferry was badly delayed. The beach is just a 30 second walk away, with shops and restaurants right nearby. We were pleasantly surprised by the sea view from the big terrace, since it wasn't advertised as a seaview room. The bed was comfy, and the little kitchen had a kettle, fridge, and tea and coffee. Hot water in the shower came and went, and there was no holder for the shower head, but it was fine overall. I'd highly recommend staying in Pollonia.

We loved staying here. The rooms were clean, the service was super friendly, and the location was perfect, close to Appolonia's lovely beach and everything in the village.

The power supply was unreliable, which made charging our phones a bit tricky, though the AC worked well when the electricity was on. The owners aren't responsible for the power, so five stars anyway. The room was clean, with a good-sized cold fridge and a small kitchen stocked with coffee, tea, olive oil, sugar, vinegar, salt, pots, pans, and a French press. We also appreciated being able to wash dishes.
