Villa Romantica

For me, a good stay means feeling so relaxed you don't wake up with the urge to go out and “seize the day”. Villa Romantica has that warmth and charm, and I felt at home and completely chilled out. From almost every part of the house, the view is breathtaking, like something from Travel Magazines. The villa has every amenity you might need, whether you're spending the day there, enjoying the large Bathtub and the secluded small beach in front of the house, or heading out to explore Corfu's magnificent beaches. Marathias beach at Fisheye restaurant has always been our favorite. If anything is missing, though I think it would be hard to find something, Yiannis is just a phone call away. The road in front of the house is narrow and two-lane, with usual traffic, not a crossroad or a highway. We hardly noticed it, so there's no need to make a big fuss about it. What matters more is that you don't see neighbours to the left or right, and the sea in front feels like your front yard. The attention to detail inside and around the Villa is amazing. There are guidebooks with addresses for restaurants, beaches, cultural sites, boat rentals, hairdressers and more, a small library in the living room, a great outdoor shower, a laptop, a powerful JBL Speaker over the Bathtub, two brand new Canoes, an SUP for the beach in front, and a large outdoor BBQ grill. It makes you wish you'd booked more than a week. This July was our 4th time staying at Villa Romantica as a family of 5, with children aged 22, 19 and 13. The Villa, Yiannis and Corfu itself impressed us again. I envy anyone who gets to experience it for the first time. Thank you, Yiannis, for your hospitality and care!
