Aisha Hotel

The breakfast was a real highlight, fresh and full of healthy choices, with local baked treats and pies too. Everyone was friendly from the online messages through to meeting them in person. We only wish we'd had more time. Our room, KAMARA, had so much character. It was airy, bright, spacious, and beautifully designed, with great amenities and a bathroom that felt spa-like. The beach towel bag was a thoughtful touch and so handy. Aisha Hotel is a destination for interior design, and its spot in the heart of Chania is hard to beat, with lovely views over the old harbour from some rooms. If the view matters to you, check when you book because not every room has it.

Breakfast alone could keep you there for four nights, there was so much to try. When we left, Maria and Erica even packed a snack bag for our next stop. We stayed in the ground-floor suite and didn't want to go. The enormous sunken bathtub, nine feet long, was unreal, and the bed, sleep, and lighting were all amazing. The hotel is a beautifully restored building that's hundreds of years old. The owners have mixed its history with some really cool modern design. We asked about a few lamps and learned they have a high-end furniture and interior design store in Chania. We went to see it, and it was awesome.

The dining area and breakfast were stunning, and the sea and lighthouse view is perfect. This inspiring place is a 300-year-old Ottoman mansion that once belonged to nobility. It makes you feel as if the words could write themselves.

Breakfast was such a treat each morning, fresh and delicious, and you can tell care went into it. Hats off to the chef. The staff were all kind, welcoming, and helpful, which made the stay even better. The room was cute and thoughtfully put together, with artistic touches that gave it its own feel while keeping the building's original charm alongside modern comfort. The location is right in the center of Chania, so everything's an easy walk, including nearby beach clubs. We loved staying here and will definitely come back. Highly recommend!
