Amphitrite hotel

I'm back for my second stay at this lovely family-owned hotel, and the location is one of the best. Gina and Manos are wonderful and always make guests feel welcome. They have great suggestions for places to eat, things to see, and day trips. Housekeeping also does a fantastic job keeping the rooms very clean. It's why I keep coming back.

Gina made my son and me feel like we were staying with family, and her suggestions for authentic local food were all spot on. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful too. Hotel Amphitrite is beautiful, the location is top-notch, and the modern rooms were very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return when we visit Chania again. Highly recommended.

We had a petit room, which was small as the name suggests, but it had what we needed: a super-comfy bed and a nice bathroom with quality toiletries. The balcony would have been the main draw, but the weather was pretty grim during most of our stay, so we didn't use it as much as we'd hoped. We also liked having a shared terrace just outside reception and another balcony on the second floor for guests without one in their room. The staff really stood out. Gina gave us a warm welcome, helped with parking the car, and checked us in. Valeria was at reception for most of the visit and was amazing, with great restaurant recommendations and help whenever we needed it. The cleaning staff were friendly, and the hotel was spotless with rooms that smelled fresh. It's in an amazing location, and we both agreed we'd stay here again next time we're in Chania.

I’m already thinking about another trip to Crete so I can stay at Amphitrite hotel again. It’s right in the middle of the old town, with everything within walking distance. Gina and Valeria welcomed me so warmly and helped with all sorts of things, from taxi bookings and shopping ideas to recommendations for the best food and drinks in the old town. Their kindness made my time in Crete unforgettable.
