Diamond Luxury Suites

For a short stay, the apartment was nice. The room looked good and was clean, with the double bed, sofa, and everything described when we booked. There was also a coffee machine with capsules, and the bathroom was clean and spacious. Our shower had a leaking head and the water didn't run properly. There was no door around the shower area, so water splashed out. Stairs to the room were fine for our one-day trip since we didn't mind our luggage, but otherwise they'd be challenging. It was a busy area, with lots of street noise and people passing the door on the stairs. I wouldn't choose it for more than one night.

The room was a good size and in a perfect spot by the main Venetian harbour. We could hear the nightlife until 4:30am on the main access street, and it woke us several times, so I wouldn't recommend it if street noise bothers you. The spiral stairs were exhausting with our luggage, even for us in our 20s, and I wouldn't recommend them for older guests or anyone with injuries. Still, we had a great stay and would come back.

It's beautiful, romantic, and well located, but the rating is very low because there's no way to cook. You can't make breakfast, lunch, or dinner, just sleep. There's no closet for clothes either. The hydromassage shower was hard to adjust for a comfortable shower, and without a screen it splashed water all over the bathroom. Walking through it got the whole apartment wet. It has the downsides of a hotel without the amenities.

Eva's service was amazing. She booked dinner for us a month ahead, then called the restaurant when we were running late. We arrived late too, and she was waiting outside with a parking space saved for us. The room was just as impressive: a lovely balcony and view, a big comfortable bed, a great shower, a separate jet tub, and one of the coolest room lighting systems I've seen. It's only steps from the old port nightlife. They also left us chilled white wine, water, and soft drinks. Best hotel ever. They weren't kidding about the luxury!
