Andreas, Maria and Adonis made us feel so welcome. They’re a lovely family, and nothing ever seemed like too much trouble. The apartment was spacious, beautiful, very clean, and in a stunning location. It felt like home. Shops and restaurants are five minutes away on foot, and the beach is about a 15 minute walk. We’d already visited Crete once this summer and stayed in a fancy hotel, but our second stay here was absolutely the better choice. If you get the chance, you won’t regret coming. Try the aletri tavern too, it’s the family’s restaurant and probably one of the best we’ve been to in Agia Marina. Thanks again for hosting us. We’ll be back!

The outside area is the place to be. There’s a private terrace with a dining table, gardens, and a pool. We loved sitting on the loungers on the lush grass beside the bright blue water, looking up at the palm trees against the sky. It was breathtaking, and the cats wandering around were adorable. We stayed five weeks in the two bedroom apartment and never wanted to leave. There are also two studio apartments. Inside, it’s spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. The kitchen has everything you need, the bathroom has spectacular views from the shower, and my daughter and I loved having a TV in each of our bedrooms. The setting is picture perfect, with views of the sea, island, olive groves, and mountains. It’s a 15 minute walk to town and the beach, and there are lovely paths up around the nearby olive groves. Maria, Andreas and Adonis were such warm hosts. They offered us food, and even PT sessions in the garden for a low price. This was the most exceptional holiday accommodation I’ve ever experienced, and I highly recommend it for a memorable stay in Crete.

Breakfast with the spectacular sea view from the top was priceless. The garden was beautifully kept, with a pool, a hammock, plenty of sun loungers, and a small outdoor gym with what you need for a workout. I stayed at Andromia for six nights with my wife and our two-and-a-half-year-old daughter. The room, location, and cleanliness were all perfect, and the owners were friendly and incredibly helpful. They lent us an umbrella and even did laundry for us. Highly recommended.

We had a great time on our yoga retreat with the owner’s son, Adonis. We hiked up into the mountains, practised yoga for 1.5 hours with what felt like the best view in Crete, then had a delicious breakfast. Thank you, Adonis! The outdoor area is so well maintained, with something to admire or discover wherever you look. The pool isn’t private, but it’s spacious, and we often had it to ourselves. Our apartment was spotless, spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. From the kitchen, a small balcony gives you mountain and sea views over morning coffee. There’s also a private terrace with a large dining table and a sea view. Andromia really is a magical place. Our stay couldn’t have been better.
