Artemisia Residence

Etouri made things easy whenever we needed help, from booking restaurants and taxis to arranging a minibus. The owner was just as thoughtful, welcoming us warmly, showing us around and leaving water, snacks and some basic food after our journey. She checked that we were comfortable and even surprised us with little gifts. Artemisia Villa was beautiful, luxurious and had everything we needed for ten days. The bedrooms were set up well with very comfortable beds. There were ten of us across two families, and the villa had plenty of space to relax. We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend it to anyone after a relaxing holiday in a welcoming setting.

I stay at luxury properties around 150 nights a year as a Marriott Ambassador, and this one still impressed me. The hosts were thoughtful and so helpful, and the stay was just right from start to finish. I've stayed in high-end hotels and Airbnbs around the world, and this is easily my favorite. I'd gladly return and highly recommend it.

The infinity pool was incredible, and the villa itself is spectacular, with a level of detail that made it feel truly luxurious. The bedrooms and bathrooms all felt like a five-star hotel. Etouri and the owner were happy to help with anything. It's the best villa we've stayed in, and we'd love to come back.

I've stayed with this host for two years, and there isn't anyone else on Crete I'd trust more. Artemisia Residence is one of the island's most peaceful, beautiful spots. The rooms are spacious, and the place is even better than the photos suggest. It's a great base for exploring, though I'd also recommend hiring a private chef and enjoying time by the pool. From the moment you arrive, you're treated like family. Eirini, the concierge, is professional, attentive and makes sure each guest is cared for. Every interaction with her has been pleasant, and she goes out of her way to accommodate everyone. If it's available for your week in Crete, book it right away.
