Villa Thalassea

The children especially enjoyed playing on the lawn, and we loved having the lush garden and several spots to sit outside and take in the Cretan coastline. Inside, every room was clean, roomy, and carefully decorated, with a lovely mix of modern comfort and traditional character. The villa’s architecture and sea views made an impression as soon as we arrived, and the peaceful atmosphere made the holiday memorable. Our hosts were so welcoming and always on hand, with helpful suggestions for restaurants and places to see. It felt private and quiet while still being close enough to visit the region’s villages and beaches. Villa Thallasea went beyond what we expected. We’d happily recommend it for a relaxing, luxurious break in Crete, and can’t wait to return.

The yard felt like a quiet, private hideaway, thanks to the lovely landscaping around the house. We found kind people in the village and a taverna within walking distance for a meal. The owners clearly care about both the property and their guests, leaving a welcome gift in the fridge. The housekeeper who came during the day was so sweet and kept everything spotless. The house looked even better in person than in the photos. Comfortable furniture, thoughtful, authentic decor, plenty of amenities, and a beautiful view made it a wonderful stay.

We loved the welcome treat of traditional products, and our host was always kind and quick to help when we needed anything. VILLA THALASSEA has a large garden where children can play for ages, and there's a real sense of peace and quiet in this magical location. The sea and mountain views are breathtaking, with plenty of little luxuries too. Beaches and the city center are still easy to reach. Our stay was unforgettable, and we'd gladly come back.
