Balance Hotel Chania

The staff kept going out of their way to help, always friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with everything I needed. We had an amazing stay and I’d highly recommend the hotel.

We didn’t rent a car and never felt we needed one. The beach and old port were both within a five-minute walk, with plenty of food and drink places nearby. If you do need a car, parking is available right beside the hotel. We stayed five days at Balance Hotel during our trip to Chania, Crete, and were impressed by what it offered. The rooms were spacious and very clean, with a good-sized balcony. They had lots of useful amenities, including a mini fridge, beach towel service, a rack for drying clothes, and a TV with Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube. Toiletries provided included shampoo, conditioner, body gel, a toothbrush, and a shower cap. The staff were welcoming, helpful, and informative. They spoke English and Greek, so communication was easy, and they knew a lot about island excursions. Their advice helped us choose which trip to take. Thanks to everyone at Balance Hotel for a great stay. We’ll definitely be back soon.

Georgia and Sonia were so lovely and helpful, thank you both! Breakfast was amazing, and we also really enjoyed the jacuzzi and shower. The hotel has a bright, peaceful feel, with a little zen atmosphere. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the old town and close to the points of interest. You can borrow bikes and towels for free from reception.

The breakfast we had for my birthday was wonderful. Everything was freshly made with local, seasonal ingredients. We loved our comfortable room, and the staff were always ready with recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. The location worked perfectly, around 5-10 minutes on foot to the old town, and a 10-minute drive to the highway, making it easy to head anywhere. A highlight of the trip.
