We had a great time during our four nights at Casa 1926, a group of five. The place had what we needed: three or four towels per person, a hairdryer, a washing machine with ampules, and air conditioning in every room. The beds were comfortable and well made, and there was enough closet space for all five of us. The balcony on the busy street side gets a lot of morning sun, and was lovely in the evenings. The owners welcomed us with delicious homemade fig jam. Parking was the downside. Nearby parking was limited to four hours, so we used a garage that cost around 110e for seven days. They take your car keys there, so don’t be surprised. Casa Grande 1926 has free parking at that nearby garage, and we were told on our last day that there’s also free parking by the port.

The apartment was beautiful, and they had homemade marmalade waiting for us when we arrived. When we left, they gave us a present too. Our plane landed at 4am, but even though check-in was at 15h, they let us come in during the night. The host was there for anything we needed. We had an amazing stay this summer, and I highly recommend it!

A spacious, clean apartment right in the heart of Chania, with a washing machine as a useful bonus. The hosts were very hospitable. I hope to return.

The host was friendly and helpful, and the apartment was very clean with good Wi-Fi. It has large bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a big balcony with a table, six chairs, and two sunbeds. It’s right next to the old town.

It felt like a home, with everything we needed in a modern, well-equipped apartment. The location was perfect: two minutes from the main bus station, five minutes from Old Town, with shops along the street and the beach nearby. Everything was within walking distance. We’ll definitely come back, 10/10.
