Creta Elena

The location was a real highlight. It’s surprisingly quiet around the hotel, and the old town and its busy streets are about a twenty-minute walk away. We enjoyed passing the Olympic sporting centre on the way. Parking wasn’t guaranteed, but finding a spot was fairly easy. The pool is nice, though a little small, and gives the hotel a great feel. Breakfast stayed much the same each morning, but it was satisfying for the whole week and became a bit of a routine. They did serve the egg differently, and that was great. The staff were lovely and smiley, and spoke good English. The rooms warmed up quickly, though there’s air conditioning. It worked, just a little slowly. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were cleaned daily. We had a pleasant stay and would recommend it.

Nothing about the room or breakfast really stood out, and the staff were pleasant without being especially attentive. The hotel itself was clean and looked well cared for, so my stay at Creta Elena Hotel Chania was decent, just pretty average. It works if you want somewhere basic in Chania, as long as you’re not expecting anything remarkable.

Really liked the apartment. It was clean and tidy, with everything needed in the room and kitchen. The staff were nice too. They even gave us a free bottle by the pool, which was a relaxing spot 😌 😎 😉

We had one of our best hotel stays here, in Greece or anywhere else in Europe, and I’m already looking forward to coming back to Chania. The pool was wonderful, and the staff made a real effort to look after us. The rooms were comfortable and the whole place was spotless. It’s also in a great spot, close to several cafes and a supermarket, with the old town about a 15 minute walk away.
