The location made it easy to explore, while the hotel itself still felt peaceful and relaxing. The room was thoughtfully designed, very clean, and comfortable, with nice extras like complimentary coffee and high-quality toiletries. Every staff member we met was welcoming and helpful, and they made sure we had what we needed throughout the stay. We had a wonderful time from beginning to end, and the hotel made our trip memorable. We’d gladly stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a well-run place.

The bed was soft and comfortable, and the room had plenty of space. The bathroom was clean, though not spacious. Like many Greek hotels, this one had a rainfall shower, but you could switch to a handheld one, which was handy. I had no problem with the shower drain flooding. Customer service was good, and the front desk receptionist spoke fluent English.

Elia Hotel is right in the center of the old town, close to everything, and I’d highly recommend it if you’re visiting Chania. The room was spacious, nice, and clean, and breakfast was great. The staff were especially lovely and friendly. After I’d checked out and left the city, Areti helped track down my E-Reader at a nearby dessert shop and kept it for me. They’re incredibly helpful and hospitable. Love them! ❤️

The neighborhood has lots of places for food and drinks, but it gets very busy at night. Don’t come by car, since there’s no parking available. The hotel is well located, the rooms are pretty, service is fine, and breakfast is very good. Bettolo is the only one I’d recommend staying at. At the other buildings, you have to walk to reception or breakfast, and I think Bettolo is the only one with an elevator. This is a good option for a 2-3 star hotel.
