The room was spacious and the price was really good. The staff were very nice, and both the rooms and location were great. Since it’s right in the city center, you can hear muffled music in the room, and there’s no elevator. Aside from that, I’d recommend this hotel.

Elia Potie is right in the middle of town and reasonably priced. My room was unfortunately close to a bar that loves loud 70s music. The furnishings were fine, but the showers blast cold water straight at your face when first switched on. After a couple of minutes the floor becomes a real slipping hazard. It could use a refurbishment.

The location was convenient for restaurants and shopping, and everything else was good. The room matched the description, with the hot tub and king size bed I wanted. My two complaints were the bathroom, where the shower drains flooded the floor and made it a slip and fall waiting to happen, and a water bottle behind the bed, which made me think the room hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned or inspected.

The location was great if street noise doesn’t bother you, but the building itself was noisy too, and I could hear the neighboring rooms. We chose this Elia hotel because the University we are visiting recommended it, and the location and price suited our workshop in the city. They only provide drinking water on the first day. Reception is in another building, with no phone line between the buildings, so if you have an issue and don’t have a Greek phone, you need to make an international call. A colleague found a cockroach in her room and also had an electricity problem. Her hair was wet, so she couldn’t leave the room and had to call reception, costing her around 5USD. They said it was late at night and they couldn’t do anything, and that cockroaches are flying insects they can’t control. I wouldn’t recommend this place. I’m sure you can find a better deal, and I definitely won’t return.
