We enjoyed the beach within walking distance and the area’s restaurants. It’s a lovely spot for a holiday with friends or family, with lots of space, a lovely garden, and a cosy BBQ.

You’ll want a car to get around from Villa Ellie, though that’s pretty much true all over Crete. With one, day trips anywhere are easy. Maria is very friendly and helpful, and speaks Greek, English, and a little German, which she’s clearly practicing. The sea view is stunning, the garden lovely, and the pool lights up at night. We had a fantastic, relaxing holiday here with our group. We’ll be back soon, so book before we do! :)

We had a fantastic, relaxing holiday and were warmly welcomed. The bedrooms give you private retreats, while the big terraces and living and dining area are lovely places to spend time together. There are also several nice spots to relax around the house. Villa Ellie is well maintained, and the green, lush surroundings even let us pick fresh fruit. The pool has a separate section for toddlers, and the bay is within walking distance and great for families with young children. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It’s a place we’re already longing to return to.
