Falassarna Hotel

We were left without a hotel and without our money after a deeply upsetting situation with reception today. They had made a mistake by accepting our reservation for that day even though the hotel was already full. At 6 pm, with nowhere to stay and no money, we explained that our debit card was having problems, so a digital refund through Booking would not reach us. The receptionist first offered to give us cash, or use the money we'd paid, which was in the hotel's account, to pay for accommodation next door. Then, without warning, the girl disappeared. We were insulted outside, and shortly afterwards got a message saying the reservation had been cancelled and the money would be returned, even though we'd already explained that a refund wouldn't reach us because of our card issue. We had to go elsewhere, still without a hotel or our money, after she disappeared irresponsibly.

It's fine, just don't expect too much. It's clean, has guest parking, and is in a good location. I'd recommend it.

It's rated only 2*, but everything was good. The staff were all pleasant, and the room came with free air conditioning, a fridge, and a free safe. Bedding was changed at least every other day, and towels every second day. The beach and coastal walk to Chania Old Town are less than 400 yards away. Worth considering if you're after a nice hotel at a good price.

I stayed seven nights and had a great experience. The rooms were clean and had everything needed, including AC. Housekeeping came daily, and there's a big parking lot with 11-15 spots. The help desk staff spoke English well. The bathroom looks like it was definitely renovated, and it looks very good. I'd totally recommend it 🙌
