Galatas is a small village with a few shops and tavernas, and the number 15 bus goes to central Chania once an hour. Mornings can be noisy during the school term. The house itself is well equipped, with a private pool and barbecue. We stayed with friends and family in September, and it got a thorough clean and fresh linen midway through the week. I'd recommend it.

The owner was amazing to deal with, and the villa is lovely, with a pool. The best beach is five minutes away and the old town takes about ten. Highly recommend it as a place to stay in Chania!
