John was a wonderful host. When we arrived, he welcomed us with a cake his wife had baked and a bottle of raki, then pointed us to tavernas away from the usual tourist spots. Trust his suggestions if you want authentic Cretan food for very little money. The apartment is bright and spacious, has air conditioning and free private parking, and is less than a 5-minute drive from Chania. There's a terrace for eating outside or drying clothes. A gas station is nearby, and the supermarket is only a minute away by car, so it's easy to stock up on food or fuel.

We visited in September with my partner and were really happy with our stay. The accommodation was clean, had all the amenities, and sat in a quiet area away from the port's hustle and bustle. Supermarkets and plenty of other shops were within walking distance. Mr. Yiannis was kind, always available to help, and happy to suggest places and activities. Giannis was kind and very helpful, and I highly recommend staying here. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. Being next to the national highway also made it easy to reach other places.

Really nice, comfortable room and great service. There's a public transport stop right outside the house. Mr. Giannis, the owner, is a very nice and helpful person.

The welcome was very friendly. The apartment itself is spacious, clean, and well equipped, though it's quite a walk to the city center and there are no sidewalks.
