Kyriaki, on guest services, was amazing. She reassured me about parking, gave clear directions, and kept in touch in the days before our one-night visit. At Christmas, she had snacks and a bottle of wine with an opener waiting, plus a list of favorite restaurants. She made everything easy on Christmas Eve, when I know she probably wanted to be with family. Kyriaki, you really crushed it! The hotel is a gorgeous 500 hundred year old building with breathtaking harbor views, on the quieter side of old town but only a few minutes from the popular restaurant bars. Our room was spotless, with a large bed and bathroom compared with other Grrek hotels. There were lots of small luxuries too, including robes, slippers, an extra blanket, high-quality bath products, and even a shaving kit without asking. Each floor has cozy nooks, and there's a welcoming breakfast area open during summer.

The view from our balcony was beautiful, and housekeeping did a wonderful job cleaning and resetting the room each day. The amenities were well laid out too. Kyriaki is brilliant and clearly cares about guests. Whenever we had a question, she got back to us, no matter what time we asked. It's a beautiful, guest-focused hotel, and our stay was wonderful. Thanks for making it so memorable!

We spent five days here in November and it felt more like home than a hotel. The location in the old town is perfect, with a lovely lighthouse view from our clean, spacious room. Breakfast was delicious, the staff were super helpful, and housekeeping was excellent. We highly recommend the Alcanea and would return in a heartbeat.

Eva, the current manager, deserves a special mention. She was so pleasant and helpful, the sort of person every hotel should have. The place is lovely, right at the beginning of the harbor, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and very well equipped. The location is wonderful, and the cafe is delightful.

The staff were so friendly, and you could tell they really love the hotel. It's an old house with lots of its original details still there, and it's full of charm. We loved our clean room, the comfortable bed, and the nicely decorated bathroom. At the end of the harbor, it has a great location and views over the lighthouse and city. We're so glad we booked this small hotel. If you're after a place with lots of love and style, you should definitely book it!
