Lidra Rooms

Agelliki, the proprietor, was very helpful and offered advice on places to eat and visit. I’ve stayed here several times, in both a double and a single room, and can’t fault the place. The rooms are simply and tastefully furnished, clean, and include a kitchenette with a kettle, coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. They overlook a beautiful square in the old town, close to the harbor. It’s also an easy walk to a beach, local buses, and the main bus station.

Aggeliki is a friendly, helpful host who’s always ready with recommendations. The rooms are really clean, and the doors are well insulated, so it’s quiet when you’re sleeping. The location is perfect. Best place to stay, and I hope to visit again soon!

What made Lidra Rooms special was Aggeliki. It’s rare to meet someone so genuinely kind. She was always there for any questions and treated guests like friends, giving us a lovely taste of Cretan hospitality. My partner and I had the pleasure of staying there this summer. The rooms are good value, clean, well equipped, and right in the heart of the old town. Everything is within walking distance, and the iconic old port is literally two minutes away on foot. We’ll definitely come back!

The two receptionists were the best part. They were so helpful and gave us all the suggestions we needed for food, beaches, or anything else we asked about. The location is also very nice, right in the city center.
