Martha was such a generous host, and every message I sent got a kind reply within minutes. Her compassion and empathy really stayed with me. It was a pleasure meeting her and her lovely family. I booked directly through their website for the best prices, rather than using a third party booking agency, and I'd absolutely stay here again and recommend the apartments to friends and family visiting Chania. My Klima Studio was compact but more than enough for one person. For a couple traveling light, it should be fine for one or two nights, but probably not longer if you both have large suitcases. In that case, one of the bigger studios would be roomier. There's no wardrobe, but the wall mounted clothes rack and hangers worked perfectly for me. The studio was super clean, and the bed was clean and comfortable. I slept incredibly well. The bathroom is small but functional, with excellent shower pressure and constant hot water. Shampoo and shower gel are combined and provided. I loved those products so much that I tracked them down in Chania to take some home as a reminder of the holiday. The mini fridge, coffee machine, kettle, crockery and cutlery were all useful. There's also a television and hairdryer, and the air conditioning was a welcome relief after time in the sun. WiFi is available. I couldn't connect at first, but Martha replied straight away when I messaged and fixed the issue. The apartments sit on a quiet street, a couple of minutes' walk from the harbour and lots of shops, bars and restaurants. Chania is compact, beautiful and easy to explore on foot. From the bus station, it took me 12 minutes to walk there. I came from the airport by bus, which cost €2.50 each way and took about half an hour. One thing to keep in mind: getting to the Klima Studio means going up some stairs. If you have mobility issues, I'd suggest booking a studio on the lower floor, reached by a gentle slope.
