The windows looked onto the interior staircase, but I knew that when I booked and it didn't affect my stay. Check-in was smooth, the room was comfortable and nice, and the price was great for what you get. The staff were friendly and helpful from start to finish and made us feel welcome. I had an excellent stay at Minoos Hotel and can highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chania for the lovely rooms, good value, and outstanding staff.

The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, and the facilities exceeded what we expected. The jacuzzi added a nice touch of luxury, too. For the price, it was great quality, within walking distance of both the old harbor and the city center. Stelios was friendly, helpful, and always ready to answer our requests. His manner really made the stay better. I'd definitely come back and recommend the place to anyone visiting Chania!

We booked through booking.com for August, had a horrible experience, couldn't get our money back, and ended up staying at another hotel. The property description was misleading: this isn't a proper hotel facility, just rooms, and the so-called reception was in deplorable condition and unfit to welcome guests. The room fell short of basic standards for the very high price. The bed was old, broken, and so squeaky that we couldn't sleep comfortably. Once the host realized we were unhappy, the atmosphere felt uncomfortable and unsafe, and we didn't feel secure staying there. He wasn't accommodating and seemed focused only on keeping the money he'd made for such a poor room. After we left, he sent us a mocking video of someone jumping on the bed and claimed it had been fixed. That was deeply disrespectful and unprofessional, and made us even more frustrated. The place should be honest on booking.com about what it is, since it isn't a hotel, or be removed from the site.

The location couldn't be better, everything in the city that interested us was within walking distance. The owner communicated really well before we arrived and gave us great recommendations. The room was beautiful, and I enjoyed it so much that I booked it again for my last night on the island. What more could I ask for? Not much. Loved it!

The reception area isn't much to look at, but the room really is nice. Everything was clean, and there was a jacuzzi, a large Italian shower, air conditioning, and free coffee available by the room entrance. Honestly, I can't think of anything missing. Really nice hotel, highly recommend it!
