Nonnalena Boutique Hotel

The old town location was great, just two minutes from the harbour. The room was well maintained, with a mini fridge and a few small amenities, and definitely had that boutique feel. I loved the exposed beam ceilings. They let us check in late and left our key with the coffee bar next door, so it was easy and hassle free. One thing to know, the bars downstairs stay open late and the noise carries. We slept fine, though, since we're used to city centre noise.

The room looked out over the port, and its minimalist, chic style was a pleasant surprise in such a traditional building. The website photos don't really do the hotel justice. It was very clean, the bed was super comfortable, and there was a coffee machine and good quality toiletries. The hosts were lovely, and the old town location is hard to beat. We'll definitely come back.

My room at Nonna Lena had a charming balcony, a cozy place to relax and take in the surroundings. The staff were warm, attentive, and quick to help, and the hotel's central location made exploring nearby attractions easy. It was a delightful stay, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant, memorable visit.

We got no reply when we emailed the hotel about cash missing from an envelope after checkout. The next day, we'd also found another room's key in our suitcase after housekeeping had cleaned. Getting in had already been a bad start: despite my email the day before asking for check-in instructions, none were sent. When we arrived at 3 am the door was locked and reception was empty, so we had to call the emergency number posted on the door.
