Shalom Luxury Rooms Kondilaki

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice and it’s great. Stella, the manager, is great and helps whenever you need her. It’s right in the middle of the boardwalk, very close to the Venetian port and Starbucks. Lots of good restaurants are nearby, along with a supermarket and shops within walking distance. If you rent a car, try to get a small one, it’ll be easier to find parking around there.

We loved our stay. The building is in the old Jewish quarter, one of the cutest parts of town, on a lively, colorful pedestrian street lined with restaurants, cafes, and shops, just steps from the Venetian harbor. It could get noisy in the room from the activity outside, but I felt that added to the charm. If you prefer quiet, a room at the back of the building may be better protected from street noise. Our room was modern, very spacious, and had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed. There’s no reception desk on site, but the staff were easy to reach by phone or email. Someone came to meet us early so we could drop our luggage, which I recommend arranging if you arrive on an early morning ferry. Enjoy :)

The room was kept very clean and presented to a high standard. We enjoyed our stay, and the location was perfect for exploring the old town.

Being right in the old town does mean some street noise. We heard the occasional party below the window, and a garbage truck could wake you up. If you're a light sleeper, you could ask for a room at the back or bring earplugs. Still, we didn't take off a star for it. The location was perfect, with plenty of breakfast spots nearby, including Phyllo, and places to pick up a sandwich. There was lots of parking near Meletiou Piga street, about a five-minute walk away. Our room was spacious and came with air conditioning, a fridge, and a capsule coffee machine. Housekeeping kept the capsules topped up, which was a nice surprise. We had an excellent stay.
