The hosts, Katherina and Antonis, were friendly and quick to communicate. There’s no 24-hour reception, though they live nearby and sorted out our issues promptly. If you need help in the middle of the night or very early, that could be a problem. We stayed in Radiantia, a spacious, clean room with a refrigerator and good amenities, plenty of room for our family of three. I also liked being able to use the breakfast room for cups, utensils, the coffee maker, and hot water kettle. Sundial is in a church complex, set away from the busy street, so nights were quiet and restful, though the church bells ring around 6 or 7 in the morning. The Old Town location made it easy to reach the main sights and KTEL central bus terminal. My family and I had a fantastic stay and I’d highly recommend it for a visit to Chania.

We’d definitely come back to Sundial Lodge. The room was lovely and roomy, the beds were comfortable, and it had all the essentials. The hosts made us feel welcome and got back to us quickly whenever we had a question or needed something. It’s right in the center, too.

We spent four days here and it was a great choice. The room was clean and quiet, and the service felt warm and really polite. The hotel sits in the heart of Chania’s Old Town, so it’s easy to see everything on foot. Highly recommend it if you’re visiting Chania.

Sundial Lodge is tucked into a lovely courtyard in the middle of the Old Port, with shops and restaurants all around. Even so, it was quiet and felt like a little oasis. Our room was clean and very nice, and the whole place seemed carefully put together with a lot of care. Katerina, the owner, was welcoming, kind, and helpful. My friends and I had a wonderful weekend there. I’d absolutely recommend it, and I’ll stay again next time I’m in Chania.

The beds were great, and Katerina and Antonis were lovely and helpful. Sundial Lodge feels calm and well put together, even though it’s right in town. I’d definitely recommend it.
