For two weeks we had a really wonderful stay at Thymes Traditional House. It's a peaceful spot among the nature and mountains of Crete, if that's what you're after, and I can highly recommend it. The house had everything we needed, the flowers were stunning, and the mountain view was amazing. Our host, Sofia, was very friendly too.

The quiet was wonderful. Most of the time we heard birds, sheep and goats, with maybe one car passing during the day. Around 'Thymes Traditional House' there are flowers, little olive trees and two lovely terraces with a barbecue and loungers, as well as a terrace with a view of the snow-covered mountains. Inside, everything was thoughtfully decorated and well equipped. Miss Sophia spoiled us with homemade treats, including olive oil and honey. We felt as if we were in paradise and would gladly recommend this house to anyone wanting a peaceful holiday in the Cretan mountains. Thank you, Miss Sofia, for sharing such a special place with us.

We loved spending the day among the olive trees, with the hammock, sun loungers and flowers on the terrace. The view is beautiful, and the house was clean, in good shape, tastefully decorated and equipped for cooking and barbecuing. It works well for 2-4 people looking for a quiet mountain stay near Chania. Two good tavernas serving typical Cretan food are about a 15-minute drive away, and you can reach the beaches in around half an hour down the mountain. My wife and I really recommend the Thymes Tratitional House.

A lovely, peaceful place with a beautiful view, not far from Chania. Clean and just right for 2 or 4 people. I loved it, such a good spot to relax!
