Villa Andromeda

We had the best stay at Villa Andromeda. The team, especially Emmanouela and Anna, were thoughtful, kind, quick to respond, and went above and beyond when we had complications with our arrival date, illness, and an injury. Breakfast was lovely, and they happily accommodated special requests. The hotel view is stunning, the rooms are spotless, and ours had all the useful little things, including glasses, a corkscrew, plates, and cutlery. The pool and garden are lovely, with plenty of different kinds of chairs to relax in. I can't recommend this place enough, 12/10!

The breakfast was wonderful, and the staff were so caring. It’s a beautiful mansion that used to be an Embassy, with spacious grounds and a magnificent pool. We’d love to come back!

The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were lovely and flexible with requests beyond the options on the form. We could choose where to eat, and had ours in the garden beside the pool. When we needed to leave early for our flight, they arranged for breakfast to be brought to our room the night before. They also welcomed us with a mini bottle of wine, which we enjoyed on our final evening on the balcony, watching the sunset over the ocean. Our room was a special two-story space, with a marble spiral staircase and a vaulted bedroom ceiling. The historic mansion is gorgeous, and the outdoor grounds have a lovely garden, pool, deck chairs, and places to eat. It’s in a quiet residential area, about a 15-20 minute walk from the city centre and just five minutes from the Archaeological Museum, which is well worth visiting. If you’re driving, finding the parking can be confusing: you need to enter via the alley behind the building.

The staff are what made this hotel unforgettable. They were helpful, cheerful, encouraging, thoughtful, kind, and accommodating. Our room was huge, quiet, fully equipped, and architecturally beautiful. The grounds were delightful, and the view from both the room and balcony was spectacular. The location was fantastic too, with a beautiful waterside walk to the old town. The highest recommendation I can give.
